Western Specialty Contractors Internship program is designed to hire students during their freshman year throughout their senior year. The program will allow the students to work in a field environment as well as an office environment. During this time, they will be able to obtain valuable experience that can be utilized to further their potential for full-time employment with Western. The program works as follows:
The intern and their Supervisor will develop a personalized training plan consisting of several of the following tasks. The intern’s training plan will be dependent on the student’s education, individual learning expectations, experience level, and needs of the Branch. The intern and their Supervisor will have periodic meetings during the internship to continuously monitor the effectiveness of the program.
