We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Services Manager
In this role you will:
Manage a team in supporting daily corporate action operations including HK Securities, China Connect, US Securities, Structure product, Bond and US Tax reporting.
Contribute to enhancement and transformation initiatives, continuously streamlining existing processes and procedures.
Ensure all operational activities remain aligned to regulatory requirements and adhere to internal and external operational risk guidelines; escalate any exceptional, suspicious, or aged items to the Team/Department Head and relevant stakeholders for timely action.
Monitor onshore and offshore team’s operations efficiency and performance
Propose and implement initiatives to streamline operational processes, improving both operational efficiency and control effectiveness.
Lead, manage, and develop team members, ensuring they meet their responsibilities and achieve performance targets. Provide continuous guidance, mentorship, and support to promote a high-performing team environment. Encourage open communication and foster collaboration among all levels of staff.
Build rapport with internal stakeholders and external parties including custodians / participants with clear communication
Lead and support investment operations change initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful and efficient project implementation. Participate in system development projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system modifications and ad-hoc projects.
Assist with additional projects and tasks as required, providing operational insights and expertise to facilitate smooth project execution.
To be successful you will need:
University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in financial industry, with at least 2 years’ corporate action operations experience, especially for overseas market (e.g. US market)
Familiar with CCASS, Euroclear, CMU and Tax reporting operations
Self-motivated, detail minded and communicative approach with at least 1 year of management experience
Strong analytical mindset, high flexibility and acting as a problem solver
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Good command in both spoken and written languages: English, Cantonese and Mandarin
