Patient Care Technicians monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring stats and performing cannulation. They are also responsible for setting up hemodialysis machines and providing high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to care for patients. Experienced technicians are required to hold current BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO certification along with BLS/CPR certification.
