The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving building operations, including performing inspections, repairs, and upgrades. This role ensures the facility remains in excellent working order while adhering to safety standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Proficiency in facility maintenance, operation of heavy equipment, and basic computer skills are required.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position)
Job Summary:
The Maintanance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of building operations across Shields Manufacturing facilities. This role ensures the facility is in excellent working order by performing inspections, repairs, and upgrades while creating a safe and well-maintained environment. The Facilities Technician will contribute to the continued operation of the organization by actively addressing facility needs and maintaining the highest standards of upkeep.
Supervisory Responsibilities: none
Facility Maintenance and Repair
The role involves working in diverse environments, including offices, outdoor settings, construction areas, and manufacturing floors
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for most of the day, performing tasks that require bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, reaching, handling, and lifting.
Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
