The Medical Assistant performs direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting physicians with examinations and procedures. They also manage laboratory equipment, maintain clinical supplies, and handle clerical tasks such as medical record filing and insurance form processing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and either a Medical Assistant training certificate or 1-3 years of relevant experience. Phlebotomy experience is required, and bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.

Assists in coordinating organization of care to meet patient needs including preparing, organizing and filing reports into the medical record.

•High school diploma or equivalent, required
•Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with certificate OR 1- 3 years' experience as a medical assistant, emergency medical technician or certified nursing attendant (with valid certificate) OR Successful completion of the Northwell Health Medical Assistant training program
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday 830-5PM Tuesday and Wednesday 1030-7PM
travel with in the Bayshore Market if coverage is needed
Location: Lindenhurst
