The Ophthalmic Technician Assistant supports physicians by managing patient flow and performing initial clinical intake and basic eye tests. They are also responsible for patient education, maintaining clinical equipment, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a medical office or customer service environment. COA or OSC certifications are preferred or encouraged within a specific timeframe after hire.
