Diagnose and repair printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies to meet quality and IPC standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to perform component-level rework and document all activities in manufacturing systems.
Requires experience in electronic assembly soldering and the ability to work under a microscope with fine-pitch components. Knowledge of ESD practices and the ability to interpret assembly drawings and schematics are essential.
The Touch-Up / Rework Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies that do not meet quality standards. This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience performing precision repairs on electronic assemblies using hand tools and specialized equipment.
The technician will work closely with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure products meet workmanship standards, IPC requirements, and customer specifications.
This position operates in a manufacturing environment handling electronic assemblies and requires adherence to ESD and safety protocols.
