Full job description
Overview
The M365 Copilot Outbound, AI at Work Evangelism team sits at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and customer adoption, helping every organization understand how Microsoft 365 Copilot is transforming the way work gets done. We turn real customer scenarios, product innovation, usage insights, and side-by-side evaluations into compelling content and experiences that make AI practical, differentiated, and valuable for every worker - helping customers see why Microsoft 365 Copilot is the best AI for work.
The Microsoft 365 Copilot team is seeking a Technical Senior Product Marketing, Microsoft 365 Copilot to drive technical product marketing across our Microsoft 365 Copilot portfolio. In this role, you will develop deep expertise in product truth across user experiences, capabilities, integrations, and platform requirements. You’ll translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑centric messaging that connects product capabilities to real business outcomes for both technical and non‑technical audiences. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to validate claims, document how things work (and where they don’t), and develop proof points and scenarios that make it easy for customers to understand the value of Copilot and why it’s different. A core part of this role is conducting and synthesizing product evaluations, including deep exploration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and similar AI solutions, demo and workflow comparisons, scenario-based testing, and documentation of strengths, limitations, and customer implications. This role is ideal for a technical marketer who enjoys getting into the details and can still tell a clear, compelling story.

As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Responsibilities
Own technical product positioning and messaging for the Microsoft 365 Copilot portfolio that’s grounded in product truth, customer needs, and competitive reality.
Build deep product expertise by partnering with engineering and PM to understand architecture, integrations, dependencies, limitations, functionality, and roadmap direction and translate that into simple, accurate narratives.
Lead product-truth validation for customer-facing assets (web, demos, core content) and ensure claims are specific, testable, and aligned to current state.
Shape product experiences by bringing customer feedback, market signals, and competitive learnings into readiness and prioritization discussions.
Develop technical storytelling frameworks that help audiences understand “how it works” and “why it matters,” especially for IT, decision makers, and end users.
Partner with the storytelling team to evolve our messaging and assets (e.g., narrative briefs, value propositions, talk tracks, demo story arcs, FAQs, and objection handling) that tell a consistent, differentiated Copilot story across various channels.
Lead evaluations by analyzing workflow comparisons, demo replications, feature and capability assessments, strengths/limitations, and observed customer implications into clear guidance for Copilot positioning, messaging, and readiness.
Partner with sales and customer-facing teams to learn from real evaluations and deployments and surface adoption blockers, admin concerns, and technical objections and drive improvements in messaging and readiness.
