Assist registered technologists in performing imaging procedures and utilizing complex equipment for image acquisition and analysis. Responsibilities include patient arrival, tracking exams in the Radiology Information System, and maintaining radiation safety standards.
Must be an active second-year student in an ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school. Required certifications include BLS or CPR and various background clearances including Act 31, 33, 34, and FBI clearance.
May perform imaging procedures at a technical level under the supervision of a registered technologist, incorporating learning and education with the performance of tasks to assist the technologist in their responsibilities.
