As a Data Solutions Architect at Seriös Group, you will provide strategic and technical leadership across the data lifecycle, helping clients realise value through data strategy, governance, cloud platforms, integration, analytics and AI.
You will work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, design secure, scalable and cost-effective solutions, and translate client objectives into target architectures and actionable roadmaps.
You will lead and assure delivery from discovery through to production, coordinating teams and resources while mentoring colleagues and building organisational capability.
You will also support business development through scoping, estimation, proposals and presentations, while identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
Strong consulting, facilitation and communication skills are essential, alongside a commitment to emerging technologies, continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Act as the bridge between client objectives and delivery, translating requirements into target architectures, actionable roadmaps and assured solution designs
Lead delivery by organising project teams, allocating resources, managing progress and ensuring successful outcomes from discovery through to production
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, supporting professional development through coaching, mentoring and capability building
Contribute to business growth by supporting pre-sales activities including scoping and estimation, preparing proposals and presentations and identifying opportunities to extend client engagements
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, methodologies and industry best practice, applying relevant innovations to client solutions
Promote delivery excellence by ensuring solutions align with quality standards, governance requirements and measurable business outcomes
The skills that we are looking for
Proven ability to analyse complex business challenges and design effective, innovative data architectures and solutions
Strong leadership skills with experience guiding project teams, mentoring colleagues and developing capability
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and act as a respected advisor
Commercial awareness and the ability to understand and address the needs of multiple clients across different sectors
Flexible and adaptable with the capacity to respond to changing priorities and business requirements
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, allocate resources effectively and deliver to deadlines
Passion for technology with a commitment to staying up to date with emerging tools, platforms and best practices in data and cloud
The experience that we are looking for
Experience designing cloud data platforms in either Azure or AWS or significant on-premise design experience
5+ years’ experience in data engineering, business intelligence or related roles
Extensive ETL and data pipeline design experience, technology agnostic
Experience implementing solutions using a range of cloud and data technologies such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Function Apps, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS Lambda Functions, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Alteryx, SSIS or Informatica, with awareness of equivalent alternatives
