Regional Forensic Mental Health Service (RFMHS)
At Forensicare, you'll be part of a specialist service dedicated to improving outcomes for people experiencing mental illness, offending-related risks and complex behavioural concerns. We work across mental health, justice and community settings, supporting recovery while contributing to a safer community.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Regional Forensic Mental Health Service on a full-time fixed-term basis through to August 2027. Based at Clifton Hill and supporting the Western Metropolitan region, you will provide expert forensic psychological assessment, intervention, consultation and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering specialist forensic mental health services to consumers involved with or at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system. You will contribute your advanced clinical expertise to support recovery-focused care, risk management and service development.

Forensicare (also known as the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health) is Victoria's leading provider of forensic mental health care. We work to meet the needs of consumers with serious mental illnesses across the justice system, mental health sectors and the community. Our services deliver a range of mental health programs targeted at patients with different needs at different stages of recovery; from early intervention and prevention, inpatient care, rehabilitation and community transition support.
