Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to perform honing, lapping, and grinding on complex aerospace hydraulic components. Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and tight tolerances.
Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 7 years of experience in machining, honing, or lapping within a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be U.S. persons per export control regulations and reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles.

Primary Function:
Eaton Aerospace Group located in Los Angeles, CA (near Glendale metro) has an opening for a Machinist A. The LA facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Preferred:
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• 8 plus years experience in machining, honing or lapping parts in a manufacturing environment.
• Involvement in successful process definition and re-engineering.
• Experience in employee involvement in multi-discipline teaming.
• Proficiency with computer based methods and tools.
• Familiarity /experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodology.
