The Cheesemonger is responsible for assisting guests with cheese selection, sharing product knowledge, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cheese department. They must also handle food preparation, weigh and package products, and ensure displays are merchandised according to company standards.
Candidates should possess basic math and knife skills, along with excellent communication abilities and a passion for cheese. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Eataly’s cheese department is home to 500+ of the highest quality cheeses specially sourced from Italy, internationally and locally. Many of the cheeses are entirely exclusive to Eataly. A Cheesemonger prepares, packages, receives and stocks product. A Cheesemonger has passion for cheese and the ability to share that passion with Eataly’s guests. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
Compensation: Pay range is set at $20 - $21 an hour.
