The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs high-quality ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular procedures, while maintaining patient safety and comfort. They act as a clinical resource for the unit, ensuring accurate documentation and proper maintenance of imaging equipment.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and possess relevant professional certifications such as ARDMS or ARRT. A minimum of one year of ultrasound experience is preferred, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

As our Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will provide quality patient care and perform high-quality images and exams, acting as a clinical resource and role model for unit personnel. Every day you will maintain sensitivity to patient needs, demonstrate leadership abilities, and assure current standards of practice for the unit, contributing to the overall excellence of the medical imaging department. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical proficiency in medical sonography, a commitment to patient-centered care and quality imaging, and the ability to serve as a resource for best practices within the unit.
