The mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding heavy equipment and fleet vehicles while prioritizing incoming work orders. They must also perform scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure all repairs are accurately documented in the company system.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working on construction equipment and trucks, along with a valid Class C driver's license. Proficiency in automotive electrical and hydraulic systems is required, while a Class A license and welding experience are preferred.

We have a current opening for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our yard in Irving, TX .
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will report to the Shop Manager and be responsible for delegating and prioritizing incoming work orders to other mechanics. Work orders include servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and the rebuilding of major components on heavy equipment and vehicles. The mechanic ensures accurate diagnosis, repair, and/or replacement of components.
