The Program Specialist Trainee assists the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals in promoting the independence of individuals with intellectual disabilities. They work closely with Behavioral Health Professionals to implement individual support plans and behavioral care strategies.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid driver's license, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to complete required certifications like First Aid and CPR.

The Program Specialist Trainee assists the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to enhance and promote the independence of the individuals supported. The Program Specialist Trainee works closely with the Behavioral Health Professional who will provide direction and support in the development and implementation of individual assessments, individual support plans and other associated plans of care, including behavioral support.
