The MRI Technologist is responsible for creating high-quality diagnostic images and providing compassionate, age-appropriate patient care. They must work collaboratively with the healthcare team while adhering to ARRT regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
Candidates must hold ARRT Radiology Tech certification and Basic Life Support certification. ARRT MRI certification is required or must be completed within 1.5 years of hire, with a preference for one year of related experience.
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Thursday from 3PM - 11:30PM with weekends/call as needed.
*If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm – 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
The MRI Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).
