The Service Technician is responsible for delivering, maintaining, and repairing portable restrooms and related assets across various customer locations. This includes operating a company vehicle safely, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and documenting all service activities via dispatching software.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be physically capable of heavy lifting and working in extreme weather conditions. A preference is given to those with one year of commercial driving experience and waste industry knowledge.
The Service Technician is primarily responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various customer locations to do any or all of the following: deliver, pick up, maintain, service, or repair portable restrooms, hand sinks, holding tanks, or any asset assigned. The Route Service Technician may exercise these duties on a daily route, a daily pick-up and delivery schedule, a yard/shop assistant, or during a special event. This position is exposed to extreme weather conditions, unpleasant odors, and sights. The hours and physical demands may vary by task.
