Responsible for planning and managing the sterile instrument and surgical equipment processing activities to meet facility needs. Oversees department personnel, quality control parameters, and operational performance goals under the direction of the Director of Sterile Processing.
Requires 5 years of experience in sterilization or acute hospital environments and 3 years of supervisory experience. Candidates must obtain CRCST, CHL, and CIS/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certifications within 18 months of employment.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the activities required to meet the sterile instrument and surgical equipment processing needs of the facility and/or other areas as directed. Under general direction of the Director of Sterile Processing, managers perform work ensuring that the operational performance and quality goals of the department are met.
