The Finance Director manages all accounting and financial operations, including the production of financial statements and the maintenance of internal controls and budgets. Step into a dynamic ministry leadership role as Finance Director, where your gifts in stewardship and strategy directly fuel life-changing work.
Springs Rescue Mission considers every position one of ministry and a vital and valued part of our team. Therefore, it is essential that all employees of SRM have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and subscribe to our Statement of Faith and Core Values. The Finance Director is responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of all Springs Rescue Mission and affiliates to include the production of financial statements, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the organization’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and reporting standards. This role is of vital importance to our organization as it supports and provides financial roadmap for SRM’s strategic plans.

Requirements
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:
Occasionally = 1%-33%; frequently = 34%-66%; continuously = 67%-100%.
Typical office working environment.
Occasionally: must be able to lift up to 20 pounds, bend or stretch
Frequently: walking, talking, climbing stairs, manual dexterity
Continuously: sitting, standing, adequate vision and hearing, good mental condition to withstand consistently medium to high levels of stress
Accounting systems to include, but not limited to:
Salary & benefits include the following: $92,000 - $98,000 annually. This position is classified as Exempt.
Benefits become effective the first day of the month following completion of 30 days of employment. For example, if your start date is January 15, benefits would begin March 1.
