The intern will manage a small book of business, performing accounting functions such as posting journal entries and reviewing trial balances. They will also prepare financial reports and assist with statutory and GAAP analysis for the insurance industry.
Candidates must be entering at least their second year of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule are required.

The Opportunity
As a co-op/intern in our Annuity Finance organization, you will be exposed to meaningful work and experience the actual day-to-day work that our experienced accounting professionals perform. You will be responsible for a small book of business where you will perform all the necessary accounting functions from posting journal entries to analysis and everything in between! As a co-op/intern, you will have a task list that exposes you to core accounting work and you will have the opportunity to learn from a collaborative group of leaders across the finance organization. We offer flexible work arrangements with defined days in our downtown Cincinnati office and working remotely from home.
