Job Summary: A Fire Alarm Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. The Fire Alarm Technician plays a critical role in safeguarding lives and property by conducting thorough and detailed inspections, performing required maintenance and providing expert advice to valued customers.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 / Hourly. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Eligible employees may participate in the Company's benefit programs, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of each plan.

The Hiller Companies, Inc. offers fire protection products and services that are preserving lives and property all around the world. Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Hiller extends its reach globally as well as locally with offices in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia. We are proud to safeguard everything from small businesses to nuclear testing facilities, yachts to aircraft carriers, and gas stations to offshore platforms. Hiller's service organization provides inspections, routine and emergency maintenance for fire suppression, detection, sprinkler and other systems. We also service and recharge fire extinguishers for all market areas; including commercial buildings, restaurants, industrial plants, oil platforms and ships. Our personnel are NICET-certified and factory-trained by our key suppliers and we maintain DOT-approved hydrostatic testing, dry chemical, CO2, FM200 and Halon 1301 refill stations. Hiller also offers a variety of products and parts to support our customers. These products include portable and fixed fire extinguishers, hoses, hose reels, nozzles, foam and other material/equipment involved in fire detection and suppression. We also provide safety equipment such as gloves, fire resistant clothing, safety glasses, masks, air breathing apparatus and other similar items. These products are sold from inventory or shipped directly to our customers from our vendors. The following vendors we have on schedule include Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Siemens, Survivair, Akron Brass and Gentex, just to name a few.
