The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing, labeling, and dispensing sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical mixtures using aseptic techniques. They must maintain clean room environments and ensure all activities comply with USP 797, USP 800, and other regulatory standards.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician program and hold a valid state license and national certification. Preference is given to those with 1-3 years of home care pharmacy experience and at least one year of aseptic preparation experience.

The Pharmacy Technician will report to the Pharmacy Manager and work in our City, State branch.
Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.
As a core member of the Pharmacy team, you will be expected to prepare technical and clerical tasks associated with the preparation, labeling and dispensing of pharmaceuticals. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions.
Shift: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Driving Position: Yes-Minimal driving for patient deliveries may be required
