Lead the integration of generation resources from interconnection request through commercial operation, coordinating with transmission owners and market operators. Oversee generator modeling, regulatory coordination with RTO/ISOs, and the technical execution of renewable energy projects.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in power systems or generation interconnection. Proficiency in power system analysis software and a PE license are preferred.
The Manager/Senior Manager, Interconnection will support the Development, M&A, and Construction Engineering teams with generation interconnections, transmission service and electrical engineering designs of multiple renewable energy projects throughout the United States. You will also support the Project Finance, Origination, Asset Management, and other teams in delivering profitable projects to Scout.
The Manager/Senior Manager will take on leadership roles as assigned within the Interconnection team. This includes driving timelines and technical work across a wide range of projects; in time, it may also include managing people. In parallel, the Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for work in a variety of areas:

RTO/ISO Market & Regulatory Coordination
Resource Integration

This position will begin as soon as possible, preferably in Q3 2026. Our ideal candidate will be based in our Boulder, CO office on a hybrid schedule, or remote arrangements for the right candidate.
