The Sous Chef supports the Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including prepared foods and catering, to ensure high-quality production and consistency. They are responsible for training and motivating the team while maintaining strict food safety standards and inventory accuracy.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in high-volume food production and possess strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety. A ServSafe or Food Manager certification is preferred, along with the ability to manage workloads and lead team members effectively.

As a Sous Chef, you will support the Chef in leading daily kitchen operations across Prepared Foods, Catering, and other foodservice areas. You’ll help ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency while developing and motivating a high-performing team that delivers the exceptional products our customers know and love.

A Sous Chef works primarily in a kitchen and food production environment. This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, frequent exposure to varying temperatures, and lifting products up to 50 pounds. The position requires working with kitchen equipment and maintaining a fast pace while collaborating closely with team members.
