What Makes Q2 Special?

SUMMARY:

Q2 is seeking an Senior Application Support Analyst for GitLab and GitHub who will work closely with key engineering users and is considered the technical subject matter expert on these systems. This person will perform technical support functions for the systems configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of GitLab and GitHub enterprise functionality. The ideal candidate possesses strong administration experience with source control management and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of Q2’s source repository tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure, administer, and support SaaS and enterprise applications across multiple business functions
• Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of application changes, enhancements, and integrations
• Perform complex application setups including workflow design, table structure management, and system automation
• Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of data entered into application fields, tables, and system databases
• Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using query and visualization tools to support business decision-making
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational and data security standards
• Train end users and provide guidance on system functionality, workflows, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and lead root cause analysis efforts
• Recommend and implement improvements to applications, configurations, and support processes to increase efficiency and user satisfaction
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and vendors to align system functionality with organizational goals
• Contribute to system documentation, support standards, and knowledge sharing across the team

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of SaaS platforms and enterprise application administration, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization
Demonstrated experience with system integration, workflow design, and business process mapping
Proficiency in querying, data validation, and reporting using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
Experience with user and role management, access control, and application security
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and solve complex technical and functional problems
Proven ability to lead application-related projects and collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement, system performance, and user experience

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
