The Contractor in Charge oversees worksite safety, provides flagging services, and ensures full compliance with Federal Railroad Administration regulations. They are responsible for conducting job briefings, monitoring track conditions, and coordinating train movements with dispatchers.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a railroad company, preferably in maintenance of way or TY&E departments. A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel for long-term assignments are required.
