Assists the Produce Manager in operating a profitable produce department by maintaining fresh inventory and providing world-class customer service. Responsibilities include ordering, culling, rotating stock, and performing cashier duties as needed.
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma and one year of experience in retail, grocery, or produce environments. Candidates must be able to pass food safety certifications and handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs.
The Produce Assistant is responsible for assisting the Produce Manager in the successful operation and profitability of the produce department.
