The Certified Medical Assistant supports dermatology physicians by documenting patient histories and assisting with various dermatological and cosmetic procedures. They are also responsible for managing patient flow, maintaining sterile environments, and handling administrative tasks like prescription refills and pathology logging.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and possess a valid Certified Medical Assistant certification. A minimum of 3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably within a dermatology setting, is required.
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting dermatology physicians by delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include patient rooming, updating medical histories, documenting visit details, and assisting with various dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments.
Pay range is $28 - $32 hourly. Hours are Monday-Thursday with 1 half day Friday a month.
$500 paid after 90 days of continuous employment, $500 paid after 180 days.
