Summary
Thank you for applying to the Line Cook position at our company! We are seeking both part-time and full-time Line Cooks. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing our delicious food for dine-in guests, and for to-go and delivery orders. You will be taught each aspect of our recipes so that you can bring an authentic dining experience, and bring some joy, to our customers.

Duties
Prepare high-quality food items to order for our guests.
Performs routine food service activities according to established operational policies and procedures.
Follow recipe and presentation guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Attention to detail in food/service quality and cleanliness.
Follow food and restaurant safety standards and guidelines.
Ensure correct ingredients are used and according to company specified quantities for each prepared dish.
Maintain a positive and calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
Maintain an awareness of all menu information, promotions, merchandise, and advertisements.
Assist with new team member training using side-by-side teaching methods using our learning management system
Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
Accommodate special requests from guests while ensuring the same high-quality standards
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of experience in food preparation.
Ability to understand some English.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
Must have (or be willing to obtain) a valid food handler’s permit.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to withstand temperature extremes and exposure to cleaning chemicals, smoke, fumes, and airborne particles.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
18+ years of age
