The RN Flu Nurse will administer influenza vaccinations and coordinate compliance programs to meet regulatory health and safety standards. They will work across various hospital locations to support the health and safety of caregivers and patients.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Ohio and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections is required.
Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees and community.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.
Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
