The UK Platform Engineering team is responsible for the cloud infrastructure and operational platforms that underpin several of Vix's critical transport solutions. We design, build, operate and continually improve secure, scalable environments supporting rail and public transport customers across production and non-production environments.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer who enjoys solving operational challenges, modernising infrastructure, automating repetitive tasks and working closely with product, development and customer teams to deliver reliable services.

Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Automate operational processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
Monitor platform health, performance and security, proactively identifying improvements.
Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
Work closely with software engineering, product management and customer support teams.
Contribute to platform architecture and technical design decisions.
Participate in operational support and incident management activities.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
