Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT card are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinates and plans delivery routes and delivers products to service our customers.
· Drives truck to deliver such items as beer, wine, liquor, and point of sale items to customer's place of business.
· Collects returnable items and empty containers from businesses and transports containers back to the distribution center for consolidation and shipment back to suppliers.
· Inspects loads and ensures proper packing and security is in place in order to reduce product breakage and vehicle damage.
· Conducts an inventory of truck contents. Retrieves overages and accounts for shortages.
· Reviews content of the truck to ensure vehicle is loaded correctly.
· Checks the distribution of the weight and product on the vehicle to ensure it is safe and stable.
· Collects and coordinates payments from customers and records transactions on customer receipt.
· Records delivery information using provided delivery record.
· Listens to and resolves service complaints.
· Resolves issues when possible.
· Coordinates customer comments and service issues with transportation management for proper resolution.
· Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
· Provides preventative maintenance and safety checks on their vehicle by conducting DOT regulated pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
· Proficient in the use of telematics devices; to include, but not limited to delivery routes and driver logs.
· Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Management.
