The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the design of mechanical parts and assemblies within a cross-functional development group. Responsibilities include creating 3D models, managing bills of materials, and building prototypes to support product design.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in mechanical design modeling tools are required.
The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the design of mechanical parts and assemblies. This person will work in a cross-functional development group. A variety of tasks and activities are required in this dynamic environment, and will handle some small-scale designs with guidance.
This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - Polaris location.
The anticipated salary range for this role in the MN and MO locality is between $68,227 to $93,812 per year: (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to receive and/or participate in profit sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the employee’s role and individual offer details. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k.
