Requires a technical degree (Associate, Bachelor, Master, or PhD) with corresponding years of experience ranging from 0 to 7+. Preferred experience includes troubleshooting electrical, fluidic, and vacuum systems within a semiconductor cleanroom environment.

As a Laboratory Service Engineer at Lam, you're a pivotal force in maintaining and upgrading equipment in our applications lab. It’s not the typical lab; you’ll be hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration. You'll support innovative equipment, providing installation and documentation, making you an integral part of our technology’s success.
In this role, you will contribute to concept and feasibility hardware projects to enhance current and develop next-generation of semiconductor equipment for our customers.
Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent military training with 7+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years of experience; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
