Scorpion is looking for a Senior Sales Account Executive to drive strategic new business growth within the legal industry through our AI-powered marketing and technology platform. This is a senior-level hunter role where you'll own the full sales cycle, build relationships with executive decision-makers, and help law firms accelerate growth through strategic marketing and technology solutions.
You'll leverage your deep understanding of the legal industry to uncover business opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and position Scorpion's AI-powered marketing and technology solutions as a strategic investment for long-term growth.

Own Complex Sales Cycles: Manage strategic new business opportunities from prospecting through executive discovery, customized demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
Generate High-Value Pipeline: Develop your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic networking, referrals, and industry relationships while consistently creating opportunities with high-growth law firms.
Advise Executive Decision-Makers: Build trusted relationships with law firm owners, partners, administrators, and executive leadership by understanding business objectives and recommending strategies that maximize revenue growth, client acquisition, and marketing performance.
Deliver Strategic Solutions: Leverage Scorpion's AI-powered marketing and technology platform to solve complex growth challenges, improve marketing ROI, strengthen client acquisition, and help law firms generate measurable business outcomes.
Consistently Exceed Revenue Goals: Maintain a healthy pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and consistently exceed monthly recurring revenue goals through a consultative sales approach.
Lead Through Influence: Serve as a trusted resource by sharing best practices, mentoring peers, and contributing to the continued success of the sales organization.
Who you are and what you bring
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
6+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role with responsibility for prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing new business.
3+ years selling software, legal technology, marketing, CRM, case management solutions, or other business solutions directly to law firms or businesses within the legal industry. You understand the challenges law firms face and can confidently engage owners, partners, and executive decision-makers on growth strategies.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas while independently building and closing new business. Experience earning promotions, President's Club, sales awards, or recognition as a top performer is strongly preferred.
Experience managing complex sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles while maintaining an accurate forecast and healthy pipeline.

You'll develop expertise in our AI powered marketing platform, consultative sales methodology, and the legal industry while learning from experienced sales leaders and peers.
Build Momentum: Begin prospecting, building your pipeline, conducting discovery meetings, and delivering tailored demonstrations with ongoing coaching and support from your manager and enablement team.
Ramp to Success: Build the confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills needed to achieve full quota within your first three months while continuing to receive coaching and professional development.

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
The base salary is $80,000 (entry-level) - $95,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $170,000 (entry-level) - $185,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
