Job Description

Team
The ServiceNow Cloud Platform PM team is responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for how ServiceNow is deployed, operated, and experienced across commercial, sovereign, partner-hosted, and customer-operated environments.
ServiceNow Cloud is the foundation that powers our global SaaS business. As ServiceNow continues to expand its cloud footprint, evolve its architecture, and support increasingly complex customer requirements, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and drive the strategy and execution of our Cloud Platform portfolio.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership beyond formal organizational boundaries, and consistently focuses on outcomes over roles. Success often means stepping outside traditional product management responsibilities to unblock strategic initiatives, drive alignment across teams, and ensure critical business objectives are achieved.
You will be a key member of a small team responsible for shaping the future of ServiceNow's cloud platform strategy and enabling the company's next phase of growth.
What you get to do in this role:
Drive Cross-Functional Execution:
Work across engineering, operations, security, legal, compliance, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams to deliver strategic platform initiatives.
Build alignment across diverse stakeholders and drive decisions in complex, highly matrixed environments.
Communicate priorities clearly and effectively to executive, technical, and customer-facing audiences
Influence Product and Business Direction
Evaluate customer requirements, regulatory trends, cloud industry developments, and hyperscaler capabilities to inform strategic investment decisions.
Integrate customer feedback, business priorities, and technical constraints into clear product recommendations and execution plans.
Develop executive-level recommendations and communicate complex tradeoffs across technical, operational, and business stakeholders.
Support Customer and Business Growth
Partner with field teams on strategic customer opportunities and cloud-related discussions. Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for ServiceNow's cloud platform.
Support market expansion initiatives, regional growth strategies, and evolving customer requirements.
Lead Through Ownership (one of the most important parts of the role)
Serve as the accountable owner for strategic initiatives, driving outcomes regardless of organizational boundaries, ownership ambiguity, or functional silos.
Identify and close execution gaps across product, engineering, operations, compliance, go-to-market, and marketing teams.
Take initiative to lead workstreams outside traditional role definitions when necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by stepping into areas where additional leadership is needed and helping the broader team execute against business priorities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
12+ years of product management experience in cloud platforms, enterprise software, infrastructure services, or medium to large-scale SaaS environments with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Deep knowledge of cloud computing architectures and hyperscaler ecosystems, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms and the operational considerations required to run cloud services at global scale.
Proven experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for complex technical platforms.
Demonstrated ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, security, compliance, legal, partnerships, and go-to-market teams.
(MUST HAVE) Exceptional ownership mindset with a history of driving initiatives to successful outcomes, even when responsibility spans multiple organizations or falls outside formal role definitions.
Proven ability to identify organizational gaps, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and proactively drive action to achieve business objectives.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and make effective decisions in fast-paced environments.
Experience conducting market analysis, competitive assessment, customer discovery, and research to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
Ability to translate complex business, technical, and customer requirements into clear product priorities and execution plans. PM as a GM mindset.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to executive, business, technical, and customer audiences.
Demonstrated success influencing without authority and leading initiatives across large organizations.
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and often ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or mid to large enterprise SaaS company.
Experience supporting globally distributed SaaS platforms and multi-region cloud deployments.
Experience with cloud security, compliance, sovereignty, data residency, or regulated cloud environments.
Experience driving cloud transformation, architecture modernization, or datacenter-to-cloud initiatives.
Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud-native AI services, and the impact of AI workloads on platform architecture and operations.
