The PREA Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to ensure full compliance with Prison Rape Elimination Act standards within a juvenile setting. This includes managing prevention, detection, and response activities to protect youth from sexual abuse and harassment.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work, or a related field, with a Master's preferred. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in juvenile justice or corrections, including PREA compliance or investigative work.

The PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and accountability for ensuring full compliance with the PREA Standards. This position oversees prevention, detection, response, and monitoring activities to protect youth from sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and retaliation. The PREA Coordinator works collaboratively with facility leadership, investigators, licensing partners, and external agencies to promote a culture of safety, dignity, and trauma-informed care.
