The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritionally balanced meals while maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards. They also supervise dietary assistants and oversee the dietary department in the absence of the Director.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have at least one year of experience as a cook in a restaurant or large volume food service program.

Under the supervision of the Dietary Director, the Cook prepares and serves meals in a timely manner and ensures they meet nutritional standards and are in recommended amounts to meet the dietary needs of residents.
