The Field Executive coordinates school engagements and delivers educational sessions on climate change and biodiversity. They are also responsible for managing student visits to the BD Hub and maintaining accurate digital records of program activities.
Candidates should hold a D.Ed., B.Ed., BSW, or a degree in Education or Social Sciences. Proficiency in Kannada and experience in teaching or community outreach are highly preferred.
The Field Executive shall support the effective delivery of the School for Forest project by coordinating school engagements, facilitating educational sessions, and managing student experiences at the BD Hub.
Conduct school outreach and coordinate schedules, permissions, and student participation.
Deliver approved educational sessions on climate change, biodiversity, and environmental themes.
Plan and facilitate student visits to BD Hub, ensuring smooth logistics, safety, and structured activities.
Maintain accurate digital records, attendance, reports, photographs, and participant feedback.
Support employee engagement programs and coordinate with the BD Hub team for activity readiness.
Participate in meetings and reviews, and undertake additional responsibilities for effective program implementation.
Qualifications
D.Ed., B.Ed., Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), or equivalent qualification in Education or Social Sciences.
Prior experience in school engagement, teaching, community outreach, or environmental education will be preferred.

Good understanding of climate change, biodiversity, and environmental awareness concepts.
Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging students and school authorities.
Ability to coordinate school schedules, manage visits, and handle field logistics.
Basic documentation, reporting, and digital data entry skills.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in field-based environments.
Good understanding of Kannada and ability to communicate effectively in Kannada. Kannada language proficiency is mandatory for this role.
Willingness to travel locally for school outreach activities.

Farmers for Forests (F4F) is a hybrid social enterprise that works on protecting and restoring forest cover in very close collaboration with rural communities. We financially support farmers to protect existing forests, undertake reforestation and transition to agroforestry on degraded agricultural land. We want to make biodiverse farms and forests financially viable for communities through the use of a blended finance model that relies on philanthropy, government scheme, carbon revenue and sustainably harvested forest produce. We are bringing the Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) model to the Indian forestry sector.
