Direct Support Professionals are responsible for positively interacting with individuals, assisting them in developing skills for independence, and administering medications. They also conduct fire drills, maintain the home, prepare meals, and provide transportation as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal background history. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs or more and assist with lifting individuals.

Supportive Living Services is currently seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated people for Part-time Direct Support Professional (Caregivers) positions locally in the Erie community. This position requires you to frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, squat, and bend. Must routinely lift 50 lbs or more. Must also assist with lifting individuals, and have the ability to monitor vital signs.
