What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
Provide supervision and support in accordance with individualized person-centered plans.
Help individuals work toward goals identified in their Individual Support Plans (ISP).
Support healthy decision-making and positive behavioral outcomes.
Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks as needed.
Administer medications according to program policies and procedures.
Transport individuals safely to appointments, activities, and community events.
Assist participants with accessing medical services, benefits, social services, and other community resources.
Encourage community integration and participation in meaningful activities.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Collaborate with clinical staff and treatment teams to support participant goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer and internet skills, including the ability to use email, documentation systems, and other electronic platforms.
Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
Ability to complete required employment screenings and clearances, including FBI clearance when applicable.
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
Previous experience in residential behavioral health, mental health, or human services settings.
Experience supporting individuals in community-based programs.
Schedule
Full-Time
Flexible scheduling based on program needs
Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be available
Opportunities for overtime may be available
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist individuals as needed.
Ability to safely transport participants in the community.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
