The Engineering Technician performs advanced technical support on installations, including reviewing engineering drawings and verifying compliance with standards. They also coordinate electronic installation activities, troubleshoot malfunctions, and assist in testing equipment to ensure performance specifications are met.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma with twelve years of experience, an associate degree with nine years, or a bachelor's degree with five years of related experience. Additionally, applicants must be US citizens, hold a valid driver's license, and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
VTG is seeking an Engineering Technician to work on various projects across the Hampton Roads.
Performs advanced technical support on installations utilizing work methods. Standard technical work is reviewed on completion. More complex work may be reviewed in progress. May serve as task leader on mid level installations.

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $33 - 45 per hour, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
