The Electronic Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment. This includes troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC motors, and sensing devices while ensuring compliance with safety and GMP regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma plus two years of trade school or four years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and working with various voltage systems is required.

SUMMARY: The Electronic Technician is responsible for performing work related to the installation, alteration, maintenance and service of all electrical systems and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None
WORK INSTRUCTIONS TO POSITION SOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Operator’s manual available on each line.
WORK SAFETY Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.
BACKUP COVERAGE In the absence of this position, another qualified Electronic Technician shall cover the absence.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE HS Diploma or equivalent plus two years of trade school or 4 years electrical and electronics work experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to attend all job related training classes to increase job knowledge and improve job performance. This also encourages confidence and sense of accomplishment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS Data entry helpful
