By joining Bio-Techne, you’ll join a company with a powerful and positive purpose of enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.
Key responsibilities
Provide high level service activities including on-site service, depot service and remote support to our customers.
Perform product installation/set-up and train our instruments and software.
Manage installation process of instruments and software.
Perform assembly of instruments/system and testing before delivering them to customers.
Report on activities in the field on a regular basis to service manager, GM and sales team as requested.
Report on technical trends by relating customer and competitor feedback to appropriate people within the company and provide assistance in generating marketing materials when required.
Communication with customers, service team people, other departments (sales, application, finance and others) and people of headquarters or other overseas offices.
Create and maintain customer support information in database (SalesForce)
Qualifications
Workplace Requirements:
PC knowledge for instruments, software packages and database products
Must be a fast learner who is motivated and committed to excellence.
Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills
Capable and interested in working in a team environment
3+ years of experience in field service for life-science, clinical diagnostic or medical market.
Ability and willingness to travel
Proficiency in both oral and written English communication (TOEIC score of 640 or higher) is desirable.
