Perform neurodiagnostic studies for pediatric, adult, geriatric, and critical care patients. Collect, assess, and interpret data while intervening in patient care as appropriate under clinical supervision.
Requires an Associate degree in Neurodiagnostics or allied health, or equivalent experience, with 3-4 years of experience in the field. R. EEG T. and/or R. PSG T. certifications are preferred.
Under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director for Neurophysiology and the overall supervision of the Neurophysiology Supervisor, the Neurophysiology Technologist performs neurodiagnostic studies, with the knowledge and ability to collect, assess, interpret and intervene as appropriate in care of pediatric, adult, geriatric, and critical care patients. This position requires a deep understanding of neurophysiology, technical proficiency with EEG equipment, and strong patient care skills.
