The Cytotechnologist microscopically evaluates cytology specimens to identify abnormalities and provides diagnostic interpretations. They also assist with rapid on-site evaluations in various clinical departments and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Candidates must have completed a CAHEA-approved Cytotechnology training program and be eligible for or possess a Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license. One year of laboratory experience is preferred.

In this role the Cytotechnologist will perform the following job duties:

Shift Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Days of Week: Monday-Friday
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be eligible for or possess either a temporary or current license as a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Cytology. Registration by an accredited National Certification Agency is preferred.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
