The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the safe administration and handling of radiopharmaceuticals and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment. Key duties include managing radioactive materials, scheduling exams, and maintaining intravenous access for patients.
Candidates should ideally hold an associate degree and must be certified by the ARRT or NMTCB. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, and one year of experience is preferred.
