YOUR ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists within Bunzl Safety & Lifting for a sales-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to a supportive Sales Manager who values collaboration, accountability, and performance, you will be responsible for delivering sales and margin growth through a combination of new business development and strategic account management.
You will manage your assigned territory in South-East Queensland as your “own business”, with a strong focus on:
Building and maintaining an active pipeline
Winning new business opportunities
Growing and developing key customer relationships
You will be supported by a knowledgeable team and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes across industrial, construction, and resource sectors.
ABOUT YOU
You are a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a strong desire to succeed in a business development role.
You bring:
Proven ability (or strong ambition) to win new business and build a sales pipeline
Confidence in building relationships across multiple stakeholders
A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering solutions
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
A high level of self-motivation and accountability
Industry experience within safety, industrial, construction, or mining environments is highly regarded, however not essential. Candidates transitioning from hands-on operational roles into sales will also be considered.
You will also demonstrate:
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confidence using CRM systems and managing sales activity
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
