Full job description
About Us:
At Total Life, we're on a mission to support healthier aging and address mental health challenges by making high-quality, affordable emotional support services accessible to all older adults. As a behavioral health organization dedicated to older adult care, we use evidence-based practices to help clients live emotionally healthy, connected, and fulfilling lives.
About This Opportunity:
We're growing our in-person community team and seeking a Longevity Ambassador to represent Total Life across Greater Philadelphia.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys people. You'll be the cheerful, familiar face of Total Life in the community — conducting in-person wellness assessments with older adults, building relationships with physician practices and residential partner sites.
We are not an organization that shows up and tells people something is wrong with them. Our message is the opposite: emotional wellness is part of living well, and the years ahead can be the best ones yet. If that's a message you'd enjoy carrying into a room, we'd like to meet you.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person wellness assessments for older adults to evaluate emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.
Represent Total Life in the community and residential partner sites as the local point of contact for clients, caregivers, and partners.
Build and maintain referral relationships with physician practices, senior living communities, and home health agencies across your territory — including in-person visits, delivering materials, and consistent follow-up.
Host Total Life's longevity screening events at partner sites — including setup, engaging attendees, and helping interested older adults book their first appointment.
Collaborate with our virtual therapy team to ensure smooth transitions into ongoing care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, and log all community outreach activity in our CRM the same day.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving our community-based programs.
About This Territory:
Dallas–Fort Worth is one of the largest and most competitive senior living markets in the country. Working from an Irving and Las Colinas center, you'll reach Plano and Frisco to the north and the Arlington–Fort Worth corridor to the west. Communities here compete hard to stand out to prospective residents and their families, which makes an on-site wellness offering a genuinely welcome conversation. The territory is geographically wide, so comfort with substantial daily driving matters in this role.
Our Requirements:
Genuinely extroverted and cheerful — a large part of this role is starting conversations with people you have never met, and enjoying it
Comfortable walking into a physician's office or residential community and introducing yourself without an appointment
Warm, patient, and genuinely interested in older adults
Healthcare background or currently enrolled healthcare student — Medical Assistant, CNA, nursing, social work, public health, or gerontology
Available a minimum of 10 hours per week
Reliable transportation for local travel
Comfortable using a CRM and standard phone and email tools
Able to transport and set up booth materials
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Even if you don't meet every listed qualification, we encourage you to apply. We're eager to connect with people who are energized by community work and dedicated to making a meaningful impact. Students, recent graduates, and experienced professionals are all welcome.
What Will Set You Apart:
Experience working with older adults or in geriatric care
Prior experience running booths, events, or community programming
Established relationships within your local community
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Benefits:
$15-22 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
Flexible part-time scheduling that works around school or other commitments
Supportive clinical and administrative team
Opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and meaningful impact within a mission-driven organization
Schedule:
Minimum 10 hours per week
Remaining hours are flexible during weekday business hours, when physician offices and residential communities are most accessible
How to Apply:
Please attach your resume and a brief note telling us about a time you struck up a conversation with a stranger and it went somewhere good. We look forward to meeting people who are ready to make a difference in their community.
Our Commitment:
Total Life is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity, inclusion, and respect, ensuring a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
Helping older adults live happier, more fulfilling lives. Together.
